SIXTY

Retirement.. the immediate thought at sixty,
One's activities way drifty,
Yet, for more..the thirst is plenty,
Unwilling to live happily, the life dainty.

A new start for some,
Passionate living for the days to come,
A relieved path to run from,
The hustle and bustle, for some.

Few take the spiritual route,
Enlightening the inner self  enroute,
Many, uprooted to 'old age homes' after family dispute,
The generation forgets that things will reboot!

Yet sixty is a mere figure,
From within, whose happiness trigger!!
